Well @ least they are stating correct info. Unfortunatly, the Silverado SS doesnt look like it will ever be produced.

Well, the actual topic was whether the 5.3 would be faster than the all-hype Dakota R/T, and the Lightning came up. At least they know where they stand...
"... is right, without mods, a stock Z71 won't stand a chance against a stock R/T. But a 5.3 2wd reg-cab shortbed might be a different story. Nothing available today will touch a Lightning in stock form. However, can't wait for a 6.0 SS Silverado to come out (GM: please make it avail w/ ext. cab!!). It'll mix things up for sure, but I still doubt it'll touch a Lightning."
