Welcome to Florida!! Cape Coral is a nice area and if you can get past the mid summer heat and humidity you will surely like it. After all, it is paradise!

Even Andrew did not hurt the Cape! The F-N snow up here crushed my carport and fell onto my Dakota. I'll take my chances with the Hurricanes.

Damn, the wife and I want to move to Florida so bad we cant stand it,but the insurance and housing is high as hell! We were looking around the Destin area and homes were in the million dollar range and up!!!
I envy you ByByBird!!! you bastage! Have fun and think of us poor Lightning owners from time to time..................Cause Ill be thinking of you come Hurrican season!

Those of us north of you have good reason to be paranoid - when Charley was originally predicted to hit Tampa Bay directly, they were predicting water 14 ft. deep in downtown Tampa.

Hurricanes suck !!!
