Talking SEARCH RESULTS

Wow, I had a question and I was afraid to post it. The search mode is GREAT, but I am still having trouble deciding between LoPro and Snuglid. Also, thinking of switching to Silver, my dealer has a silver L coming in on 4/23, and there is no build date for my Black order. Big dilema.

I'm also new to this board and it is very cool.

RU4RCN, tough decesion on which color too choose. If I had the choice it would be between Black or Silver. I might go with the Silver, but would have to see them toghter to decide.

BTW you can 'edit' your post if you forget something, if you look @ the opt right corner of you post you will see a little pencil, just click on that & it will take you into your original post & then you can 'edit' it. Good luck on your color choice!

Cool

RU4RACN,

Welcome to the family!

Re color: I love my black L but if silver had been available on the '99's, I might have gone that way. Only color other than black that I would have considered.

Re tonneau covers: Any diff in warranty period between LoPro and Snuglid? My ARE LSII lid has a lifetime warranty but, although I believe LoPro is made by ARE, I don't think it has the same coverage period as the LSII. I could be wrong, but Snuglid may have a longer warranty. Something to check out anyway.

F150svt,

No the lopro does not have a lifetime warranty and I'm not sure what the snug lid has, but I'll check it out. Well right now I have the silver one on hold and the black one on order. Maybe I'll take both, heheheh.

WRT Lid - Look at them closely before you decide. I had a LoPro ordered when F150-On-Line met at Milan Dragway last summer. I saw installed examples of each and finally chose the A.R.E. LSII. It's bigger and wraps over the rail, but it sure works nice and you can open and close it one handed without the key. The LoPro requires that you hold down the lid and work 2 locks each time. The deal killer was that there is a weatherstrip that gets glued to the top rail of the bed which wouldn't last. The LoPro looks nice though.

WRT Color - I think black looks the best, but it's a pain in the a$$ to keep spot free!

Lo Pro added 2 more yrs to the warranty, total of 5. May not be the best but looks the best IMO.
