It may be worth more with that cluster in it.

i sold my latest 02 ightning with 11k miles so i could by my 05 c6 vette.Boy did i regret that.Ive actually been searching for another low mileage gen 2 and came upon the 93.I chose to buy the 93 because i think it is a much much more rare find to find a 93 than a gen 2 with these kind of miles.ultimatley i hoped to buy both this year however i was willing to settle for a 50-60k mile gen 1 for around $10k until i saw this one.Im sure there are quite a few 99-04 sitting in garages

Wow that is a great find congrats. But I don't know how anyone can not Just dirve this cars or turcks. I don't konw how people let them just sit around for years. I love my truck and I drive it all the time. I don't understand people what do they do, just look at it and sit in it. Congrats anyway and hope you enjoy your truck and good luck on finding a gen 2 lightning. There out there your just going to have to find it.

Ya what he said, I'm with my LOONY Brother
I can not for the life of me understand the reason you'd want to buy something to look at and not enjoy. Hey their loss is your gain.
That is one Beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeautiful Lightning and your buying a Brand New Vehicle 13 yrs later,
SCORE
(ok I admit I dont like the bumpers but hey thats just me)

i always hated the tube bumpers.Did some of them come with roll pans?? or did you either get no bumper or tube bumper in 93. also in the 94-95 i notice they have the nice painted real bumper. Was that an option then or did they all come like that inlter years??I see a ton with roll pans and im guesssing that the bumper was an option just like it was on regular trucks and the people who got no bumper did roll pan instead???

The regular bumper was standard, the tube bumper was the option. Roll pans were aftermarket. The red tube bumpers turned pink after a while.

If the picture posted above is of your new truck, I am very impressed. The 93s had no clear coat, so the paint often didn't fair too well. Then again, yours has 2600 miles, which no doubt it was kept indoors and highly gaurded . It looks awesome.

Oh boy... I really hate to do this.... but I think it could be a big deal, and Ray does have the right to know....

That's NOT a Lightning dash cluster. That's a regular F-150 cluster. The Lightning dash goes to 120, not 80.

Here is a pic of a Lightning cluster...

There is a 5 page debate on this truck over at NLOC about its' authenticity. The new owner is even in there talking about it.

Okay, I read it. I can buy the misbuilt thing, as I'm a former Ford tech myself, and have seen my share of misbuilt vehicles. Still just strikes me as odd though...

Can't deny that the truck is a legit low mile Lightning.
