Stock traction lock 31 spline vs. 500+HP

I see many Ls w/ lots -o- power but I see so few threads about rear end upgrades. Suprising because w/ my Lightnings HP I was able to kill a set of clutches no problem and I am not a die hard track enthusiast(sp) like many are here. If you are running over 500HP are you concerned? Or have you already addressed this issue regarding stock rear diff. compotents and a built block?

Factory Lightning rears are massive one ton 35 spline units. The stock axles are stronger than most aftermarket replacements for lighter vehicles like Mustangs. I've never seen anyone break a stock Gen 2 axle yet.

The only thing I've seen is the clutches wear out in the limited slip unit. Other than that, I have never seen one break either.
