Yeah Tim, that garage is a piece of work! Is the floor coated with anything or just painted concrete?

PS The height of your cabinets gives rise that you are a friggin giant!!!!!!! 6'6 if i remember correctly, i'd need a step ladder!!

It's RaceDeck FreeFlow tile over gray epoxy.

Slight improvement over what I started with:

Craftsman 25 gallon, 2-cylinder oillube, 6.8 SCFM @ 90 PSIG (model # 19541), located in adjacent basement, dedicated 15 amp circuit, Harbor Freight 50' hose reel w/Craftsman external regulator and auto lube.

Not a massive compressor, but mostly does what I need it to without breaking the bank.

I need a step ladder also (it's there in the picture).

I made them that height so that I don't have to walk sideways (i.e., my shoulder slips under) when I walk around the front of the truck.

No stepladder needed for the other side, though:

One thing missing from that smart workshop geezer.

Where is your beer fridge - no Miller Lite or Bud.
What do your buddies do when they visit - go thirsty

Hey tim, were your bags like a foot long uninstalled? I just unpacked my Slam Air kit and these bags are 12 or 13" long. Did they send me the wrong kit? Do you happen to have the part # for the one you got handy?

I don't know if that is a good idea as the page is right now, Cliff. After thinking some more on the subject, I wonder if any of the challenges that I faced were due the the unique mounting position neccessitated by the combination of Hotchkis leafs, shackles, and Metco lowers. Let me go back and rework the page and see if I can make that clear throughout.

I ended up getting the sport rites installed by Performance Research - DOnt have any decent pictures but the install went fine. Running 7 lbs of air the truck doesnt bottom any more on bumps in the road and rides almost the same. I can pull the boat if I need to - Just need to add a T fitting to make it easier to air the bags up- Performance Research found the T for me but I havent been back yet. Install took about 2 hours give or take.

Im very satisfied with the roush now ...

Hey Tim, I'm gettin ready to buy and install a Hotchkis TVS and DMRacing Panhard Bar....were there any adverse effects from the airbags in terms of handling ??? I tow my friends and my own mustang around and its looking like I'll need a set of these for the 800mile each way trip we have planned this summer.

With the minimum 5 PSIG in the bags, it's like they are not even there. In theory, there may be some added stiffness on extreme compression, but I haven't noticed any.

O.k. great....thanks for the information....I guess I'll be adding a set to the list and install them at the same time as I do the Hotchkis install. Do you just set them to the 5psi and recap them or do you leave the valve open ??

There's not really a cap. You inflate the bags through a schroeder valve just like on your tires. It's just like a normal valve stem that mounted wherever you want to mount it. Or you could opt for the convenience of the small onboard compressor. You can inflate/deflate the bags either way.
