They have an article comparing the Vette to the Lightning, it funny, entertainingly writen and did I mention funny.

 

So how badly did the Lightning walk the Vette?

 

Heh, of all people, my AUTO insurance guy told me on the phone when I was adding the L to the policy about that article.

I'm glad it hit the newstands now, I can grab it. (He was a subscriber)

 

What issue??? I looked in the April one (the current one at 3 bookstores around here) and nothing about the Lightning. I have the feeling it's the May issues which should hit the stores soon, but people who get it delivered to thier door prolly already have it.

Anyone???

Injection is nice, but I'd rather be blown. 99 Lightning, the best of both worlds!

 

I saw it today at H.E.B., I think the L ran a 13.61, cant remember the mph but I think it was 99 or 100. I think the Vett ran a 13.27, it was the fastest stock times I have seen a mag. publish for both vehicles though. Pretty cool article.

 

This is funny, today I decided to do a photo shoot of my prize possessions. When done, went to my local photo store to have them developed, while waiting for the photos, went to a book store, picked up May issue of Hot Rod and what did I find? Well, anyhow, you'll see why I thought it was funny, my prize possesions below.





Granted its not a 2000 Vette, but atleast I got the colors right!

BTW, the times posted were corrected times and as follows: L; 13.68 @ 99.3 mph, Vette; 13.27 @ 107 mph. That is why they are lower than others you have seen.
