Question Solid Rear WIndow

Now that I have installed the 2" drop and Snuglid, the truck looks very smooth and sleek except for the rear slider window. Has anyone installed a solid rear window? If so, could you post a pic?
In addition, is the factory 2000 solid rear window tinted like the slider?

I know I'll get flamed for this one, but I am seriously considering removing the SVT150 and Ford badge from the tailgate and then having the indent from where the Ford badge was, filled and repaint the tailgate.
Anyone done that?
If so, anyone have a pic?

I have a regular f150 that i removed the slider and put solid glass. I dont have a picture off hand tho. They come in tinted or the plain greenish one. I found the best bet for this is to get used glass. The dealer and most glass shops will want crazy amounts of money for the glass. The solid glass is alot harder to find than the slider too, The guy i went to had about 10 sliders just sitting there and 2 solid of solid glass. I paid 100 for the solid installed and he didnt even want the slider as an exchange.

Cool

I have not filled in the holes, but I removed the stupid "SVT F150" and replaced it with a "LIGHTNING" like on the fenders.

Underneath the "SVT F150" badge, there are 3 holes, the left one is small(1/4"), the right one is oval(1/4"x3/8") and the center one is large, around 7/16" or 1/2".

Peter,

You are not alone. I don't like the slider. On my '97 F-150, I had the plain glass and I liked it much better. I don't even open it!
