What dealer did everyone get there Lightnings at?
I was just wondering what what dealer everyone got there Lightning at. Or if anyone has had any problems with there dealer. I want to know if we could be Lightning brothers or sisters, maybe we got them at the same place.

Joe Myers FORD in Houston, Texas, salesman was great. Haven't tried the service yet, but if it's no good I have many to chose from in the area.

1999 Black Lightning SVT all options, (Factory soft tonneau cover, 6 Disc CD, Class III towing hitch), Loyd one piece floormat (Fits well, looks good), Tail light covers (Killer painted black to match), Black spray in bed liner (looks very good), Windows tinted gray 15% on doors, Dark Limo on back glass, Ordered 1st truck 1/21/99 till salesman told me a $5000 premium would be added, On the same day ordered second truck 2/24/99 (BEFORE getting my check back), Took delivery 6/21/99 After MANY many MANY promised ETA dates, Build date of 5/20/99

Got mine at Cavalier Ford, Chesapeake, VA. Their first Lightning to come in. Had put money down on it 2 mos. before. Some guy saw it and wanted to trade his 93 Cobra and 2 other vehicles for it. Blackbolt: I saw Downs Ford advertising their Lightnings on line with a $2500 premium, and they weren't staying there long either, they stick ya with that?

Paid full sticker less a couple of "lease loyalty" rebates because we lease a lot from them.
Have always been satisfied with "normal" Ford vehicles leased from this dealership, but am totally disappointed in their capability/attitude,general knowledge about high performance Fords. Will not lease another similar type vehicle from them.

Homer Heller Ford brings back memories. I lived in Oceanside, Vista, Fallbrook (class of '57) and several locations in mainly East San Diego (San Diego State class of '67)
My parents still live in Oceanside, and next time I visit them, I will try to connect up with you.

Got mine at Bay Area Ford in Webster, Tx. (just south of Houston on I-45). The salesman was great, the service writer was extremely nice and very knowledgable, and the one service event I have had thus far was exemplary.
You might possibly get the idea that I like my dealer.....
