The good with the bad...
The good with the bad...
Well, I downloaded the revision for the Predator, rev update 8.something. And it is deff. nicer. A hell of alot more parramiters you can adjust, and the timeing is in degs, not % like the old version. But something I don't understand is, After the install I get a SES P1000 code OBDII system rediness. I get the same code on my S/C SVTF. WTF does it mean? And why dose it always come up? I read a bit about it on google, the code means that the test was not compleate. What ****in test? What does it hurt? How can I fit it? How can I get it to stop showing me the SES light so if I get a real code I'll know?
What about line pressure? I know that I need a VB, but I'm POOR! So for now... In the default settings, the line pressure is set at 35psi, goes down to 25, and up to 40psi. If I bump that up, am I going to feel a better shift? Any damage to the trans?
I reduced the torque reduction by 50% for part throtle, and turned it off for WOT, big improvement. Any comments?
Boost bypass is off.
It has no setting for 3.55 gears, closest is 3.54
It has no setting for 90mm MAF, does it asume I have one? I do. It has a whole but load of parmiters to adjust for the MAF, but I left them all on the presets, because I know NOTHING when it comes to that.
It also has a but load of options for the OBDII, but I know nothing.
Can;'t wait to get it on the dyno!!!

there is a tune in it for the 90mm maf. if you have a custom tune, then it shiould already be adjusted for it if you tuner knew you upgraded the maf.
the p1000 code is nothing to realyl worry about, it should go away in the normal course of driving, sometimes it only takes a few miles, sometimes a couple hundred. the computer tests all the sensors to make sure they work.
torque reduction: you can turn it off, but i chose not to, because it it built in to protect the tranny, and it really doesn't slow the truck down much

Got it!!! I swear I am half-retarded as well...
Thier WAS a tune for "Pulley, 90mm MAF, 93 oct" I over read it when I seclected the tune, I installed just the Pulley/93. The correct tune was hiden from MY eyes, I only sean 90mm MAF/93 oct, the Pulley part I had to scroll right to read, man I feel stupid. Well, just went out and installed the correct tune, and that took care of the codes that kept pulling up, and the low rpm cuise buckle. lol But any ideas on the other questions?
Thanks!
