Supercharger gear whine?

Question Supercharger gear whine?
Has anyone noticed if the gear whine out of the supercharger has increased with age on their Lightning? Has anyone compared the sound level from a 15,000 mile engine to a near new one?

My supercharger still whines the same as it did the first day I drove it. Actually that is not true, the whine is much louder with the psp filter kit on it.
