Handheld tuners and shift firmness

i dont really want to swap the valve body out, but i want really firm shifts.

is it safe to use the sct or diablo tuners for that???

Not really. It's not safe to raise the trans pressure that high with a tuner. You need a shift kit (accumalator) to do that. Majority of the Lightning owners use this part. Give Tim at Chickenears a call for a FTVB ( Factory Tech Valve Body). I think Mike at Troyer carrys them also. Hope this helps.
