Question header bolt question

I have installed a full bassani system about a month ago, and used the bassani supplied bolts. I checked some of the easier to get to bolts last night and they still seem tight. Has anyone else had any problems with the bolts loosening and have to retorque? I am considering ordering a set of stage8 locking bolts if it seems like it is going to be a problem. What do you guys think?

With header bolts, you torque them to spec and then run the engine and let it reach full operating temperature. Then, after the motor cools down completely, re-torque the bolts. You might want to check them once or twice a year, but in general, this method works well.

The problem isn't the bolts turning, but elongating during the heat/cool cycle. Its a normal thing to happen. The locking bolts just prevent the bolt from turning, so won't actually prevent the "loosening" effect.

I would also not recommend that you use stainless header bolts. Stainless steel expands more than standard steel when heated, so the bolts will have more tendancy to appear to loosen when hot.
