SVT F150 truck? WTF? Who is this guy trying to fool?

The Denali came from the factory with a gap above the front tires that looked like it was squatting in the rear. Going to the bigger wheels and wider tires only made it look goofier.
I first lowered the front the front about 2" using just the torsion bars. Really simple. Just a bolt out on both sides.
When I put on the Edelbrock shocks, I was disappointed with the performance. Called Edelbrock and they said they were designed for stock ride height and that they didn't have any for lowered trucks. Performance would seriously diminish if lowered.
Well I couldn't live with stock height, so I went with 1" overall front drop. Gives the truck a slight rake, which looks great. But it by no means looks drastically lowered. It just looks like it should, if that makes sense. Same gap between the tires and fenders front and rear.
By far the best bang for the buck were the Hotchkis swat bars. The truck corners flat, with or without the Edelbrocks. Highly recommended.
Will post pictures when the snows come off in three weeks.
How do you like your Z71 - got one of those too. Extended cab - white. Preferred the look of the last generation.

I hate to validate a stupid sounding story but there acutally was a company in Cali that was making Extended cab (93-95) lightnings.
Forgot what the cost was but they would take a lightning, chop it up, order the extend cab piece from ford and put it all back together, stretch the frame etc.
Had 1 out in Hawaii- Dark Green- guy even opted for the Kenne Belle Whipple charger. I didnt belive it was a real lightning till I checked the OASIS printout.
So who knows- maybey the've started chopping up our new babies..... =(
Talk about more money than brains.
