infinity Kappa
Ordered these from Crutchfield. 5x7 midrange with 1" tweeter that I`ll mount close to the door handles. 90 watt RMS amp. 5x7 Kappa co-axials in the rear. Any one have any idea how this might sound. I have a JBL 8' powered sub now. May go with MTX Thunderform.
Plan to put the dynamat door kits in and also do the rear of cab..possibly the floor. I have about twenty square feet of mat and three cans of their spray.
Still want to know the best way to mount the factory CD changer under the middle passenger seat. Strap or ? Will the factory changer harness reach without adding more wire?
Thanks, Jeff C.

I had a 4x4 Toyota and put two 2-way Kappa speakers in the dash, and two 10in subs behind the seat. The boxes were very small, but the thing sounded great. I used a 4-channel Auto-tech amp to to push everything. I really liked the quality of sound the Kappas made. They do cost alot but I think they are worth it. I havent heard the speakers you described but I know they will sound great. The highs are extremely loud and clear. As far as subs go, the Kappas require the least amount of air space, at least at the time of my purchase they did. You will be pleased.
Twisted,
Did you mount the 8 foot subs in the bed or what? Must be able to produce some serious lows.
Sorry, I just had to. Lightning ownership makes me giddy!
