Nitrous or Meth/Water Injection

I am due for another mod and i am having a hard time deciding which way to go. I want more power but want to remain safe. I currently have a 4#, chip, JLP air kit, and magnaflow exhaust. Any input appreciated.

What octane fuel can you get at the pump?

91 is the highest i have seen around here? I still detonate some times, depending on the weather.

Alky/water injection is not a power adder. It is a safety adder. If you have detonation now adding nitrous would be plain stupid. Work on the tune of your current setup before adding anything else. Once you have your current setup optimized then add to it.

As Silver-Bolt was saying, Alky on it's own is not a power adder, but in your case could allow more timing safely and get your detonation under control. That said, I wouldn't want to solve it that way because who wants to keep filling that up all the time for normal driving?

Talk with a tuner that has good experience with 91 oct gas.
