Leaking intercooler

I have a 00 Lightning that has the ever-popular leaky intercooler. Does anyone know of an aftermarket company that makes lower intakes and/or intercoolers for the lightnings? Or does anyone know where I can get a good used one from a 01 or newer?

might be worth calling around the junk/salvage yards in your area. Also try online sources/ebay! Curious why yours was not done via recall?? Best of luck!

1. it wasn't a recall. A recall is issued by the NHTSA, this was a customer satisfaction (forgot what ford technically called it).
2. Start calling Ford dealership and see if you can find the "kit" that consists of everything you need. New I/C, New lower manifold, gaskets, bolts etc.. expect to pay $700+
3. If you want to convert over to a new setup, you have to puchase a blower, as the holes don't line up.

4. OR contact JLP and explain your problem. They have a Fix, that many have used for tens of thousands of miles and had no leaks, and it cost under $20.00.
