Johnny,
Slow it down let us guys running drag radials catch up I was running 106 plus mph. But still stuck in the 13 teens. Seems like Superchip really got your chip right this time, good luck. Are you going to Cecil on the 24th? My Bassani System should be in on Tuesday.....

WOW! A 13 flat on street tires! Man dress up your lightning with our mods and you would have at least 11 sec truck. I can not get over that, 13.0 with chip and filter, i think the lowest we got in our L with that set up was 13.8. What was the weather like and what track?

Johnny,
If you go with the 26 inch tall tire that would work out to a 3.89 gear BJ`s wholesalers have good rates for the Drag T/A`s. I think that I will be switching to a full slick in the next few weeks, I am having alot of tire spin the first 100'. If you click on profile you should be able to change your sig.

peter b. how ya doing? i just had the chip changed. i was having some problems with the chip. my blower kept shutting off when it would shift into 2nd. the revs were pretty high too, around 5,800 according to my tach. the shifts were sloppy too. so i had them firm up the shifts and take the rpms to 5,500 that seemed to do the trick. when this trucks shifts into 2nd it spins the tires no sloppy shifts at all. whatever program it is i don't know for sure. but when i get a chance i'll get the # off the back of the chip and let you know.......

skydive69. i heated the tires just like i do my slicks on my cobra.let the smoke fly then i powerbraked it up to the point it started to push around 2,000 then i let er go.... the previous run i had a 1.970 60 ft, but i had to get out of it because the blower turned off. then my buddy spiro told me to put it in neutral after the burnout and rev it a coulple of times. it did the trick the blower never turned off. if i would have gotten that 1.9 60ft. that time i know it would have went into the 12's....

Great run JohnnyLightning!

BTW, notice you live in Lancaster, PA. My wife and I stayed at the King's Cottage B&B in Lancaster last fall during an extensive east coast trip (3 months & 6,000 miles). Great B&B and great town. Beautiful countryside! We took a buggy ride and then drove over to York to tour the H-D plant.
