By-pass Oil Filter
A friend of mine was showing me an interesting oil filter set up made by Amsoil this weekend. In addition to the regular oil filter, there is a by-pass oil filter that uses a pressure sensor, so when you're driving fast the oil goes right through, but if you're just cruising it's like you're changing your oil while driving. He told me if you run your car with it at idle for 15-20 minutes it would be like an oil change. I think he said the by-pass filter only has to be changed along with the regular oil filter.
Anyone hear about this?

Mike,
I have heard about it, an looked at the hardware. It looks like a good system and they claim the filter only needs changing like twice a year. The only problems I have with itis the expense (it is pretty pricey) and where in the world would I mount it?
