Question Need Help with Superchip ???

I ordered a Superchip from Mike at Performance Products in Virginia. Got it Thursday and installed it. Generally I was very happy with the performance and nice shifts, but once I got it to the track I noticed a problem. Approximately at 85 mph the truck started shaking and I got lots of hesitation followed by a very slow increase in speed. With the chip in the 1 position (off), I experienced no problems and acceleration was just fine even past 120 mph. I have seen some threads regarding a "brick wall" effect with some chips. Has anyone experienced this, and if so, how did you fix the problem?

Thanks in advance...Alex

I had the same problem.Or similar. My truck would not go over 90mph at all!.I believe it is a problem with the "chip" itself not with the program.Superchips tryed replacing the "program/file" 3 times before giving me a whole new chip. They will probally try to fix it by replacing the file first. Then you will probally give you a new chip all together.Lookback at my post from about 2 weeks ago about this problem."rpm file" on 3/10/2000. Use search , look for rpm file
