Most everybody quit waitin' for K&N to come out with a replacement after the other airbox modifications hit the market. Besides, the airbox is the restriction. I believe everybody that pulled out the filter at the track saw no improvement.

He is close to the K & N factory and drove over and picked up my filter in one day and I had it in three days. He's a great guy with good prices and he loves L's. Give him a buzz and use my name. Although not as good as the other air mods, it's still an improvement over the stock Fram filter.

My brother tried getting me a KN replacement filter for mine... when He found out they didnt make one I talked him into getting me the Air Charger Kit. Retail is about $130.. I got a good buddy price of $85. The one I put in is actually for a 4.6 Stang but everything bolted in with the exception of the IAT. The isntructions say to just put a hole in the side of the intake tube but I got fancy, broke out my Carbide grinder bits and made a spot for it next to the MAF on the KN plate. Came out really nice.
Part number is 63-1008.
Most the boost gauge would read before was a hair under 8 now ive hit a solid 9lbs.
