engine swap help

hi all, i just install a new engine on my 02 f150, got the flex plate on the torque convertor also. but my bellhousing is missing a couple of bolts. and dowl pin is aligned but since i have missing bolt the bellhousing is not completly close together. can i drive it as is? since the flex plate is securly bolt on to my torque convertor or do i have to take buy new bolts and since the missing bolt is on the top , i have to take out my intake manifold to gain access.
please give me input suggestions.
thanks in advance

umm im just curious.. did you check to make sure that your torque convertor fully installed and locked in place?? there shouldnt be a gap there unless the convertor was not installed properly.. i would look into that..

yes it's locked in place. the gap is cause by not completely screwing in the bolt for the bellhousing ( i think ) but i am very sure that the torque convertor is locked and spins freely

2 bolts should close the gap if the converter is installed properly. If not you could the ruin front pump, seals, snap pieces off the bell housing. I would get bolts first.

I wouldn't drive. If you do you have a chance of missing up your pump. Just go get some other bolts to finish up the job, don't do it half ***.
