Question SVT Certification

How does a dealership become SVT certified? Is it through sales volume, knowledge, performance ratings, kickbacks , or what? Just wondering.

Injection is nice, but I'd rather be blown. 99 Lightning, the best of both worlds!

Thumbs up

Our Ford dealership in Navasota just got certified to sell Roush Performance vehicles. I don't know if this is the same way, but I know the okay for this dealership came directly from Jack Roush.

The money solution sounds like the most probable, though.

It seems like I heard they had to pay and carry a certain amount of svt/sve parts in stock...?

Burninout!
You are absolutly correct.I used to work at a ford dealer and that is exactly what it takes to be a SVT dealer 1 million in parts and equipment. Also only 1-2 people per dealership are actually trained for svt dealerships. Most of the training is in sales.Out of 12 salesmen at my dealer, only two were trained for sales.
