What a joke!

With that much HP and TQ @ the rear wheels you think his ET would be better then that. I have much less HP/TQ and have better time then he does. I guess it goes to show that power without traction an't sh_t!

628 Rear Wheel HP
626 Rear Wheel Torque
12.40 sec

Car owners probably say that about us.

Imagine how quickly we could go with 1,000 pounds or so dropped. It's all relative.

hmm

i was always under the impression that SHM was only into Ford Products. Guess I was wrong. I've driven the quad cab. Not as quick off the line but it pulls like a ****!!!

I just went to SHM's page from the link. They can stick that Tremec TKO 600 they put in that stang up there ***!!!! Talk about a company that don't back their products. I'd never buy or recommend another Tremec product again. This is a whole other story though!!!!

If they like HMS, they'll like SHM.

I honestly don't understand why so many people *hate* others brands?

Yes you and I made a better choice for our dollar... but why so harshly bash others?

Same goes for ricers IMO. It's not something parked in my driveway.. but I don't feel the need backed by ignorance and pride to show hatered towards others?

I think you are correct!!

From Car and Driver....
The Quad Cab's 5.6-second 0-to-60 time was 0.7 second slower than the regular cab's, and the quarter-mile was 0.6 second off at 14.2 seconds.

with that gear ratio in my truck.....traction would be a BIG problem
Dodge Ram SRT-10 Quad Cab was fitted with a 4.56 gear ratio to improve launch feel

That 12.40 was also with a 117mph trap speed. With a set of slicks that's good for well into the 11s. Not bad for a 5,300# truck with an auto.
Now saying that, it still does not have the mph for a truck with 620/620 at the rear. I'd say the dyno #s are a hair inflated or just very peaky.
