RPM Outlet oil seperator results??
RPM Outlet oil seperator results??
A few Months back, a few members purchased the "better oil separator" from RPM outlet. Since some time has passed, I was curious in knowing if it works or not.

Finally got around to swapping the ported blowers out so an update on the rpmoutlet/motoblue unit. Unfortunately there was oil in the plenum and SC and this is after 2 months of use. After 2 weeks of having it I added the hose to include the drivers side into it. The intake had no oil in it. The plenum is still getting oil from the hose going to the back left corner of the plenum. I capped that off and ran the motoblue unit top hose straight to where that used to connect. I guess we'll see if this helps any. Also a note the threaded section of the units are very cheaply made and I ended up breaking it at the threads where it screws into the filler neck. I ended up supergluing it back together. I will see if RPM will send out a new one. So there's the update.
I'm not big on most of the RPM outlet stuff. I skipped right over the "drain it later" kits and went straight for the L&S oil separator kit. No issues so far and they have proven results by multiple members on NLOC.

I am going to just use breathers on both valve covers and eliminate the possibility of any oil getting in the intake. I know it will smell like oil, but that is a small price to pay to keep oil out of my intake....IMO.
