Smoked tail lights

I just got done with tinting my tail lights. I have Bermuda black tails on my black Lightning but I didn't like how they were always fogged up. I ordered some plain jane red ones with the reflector in the top of the light. I started on them last night and finished them up after breakfast with my brother. I'd post some pictures of them on the truck but I'm not putting them on until the truck is done at the body shop. If you wanna know how I did them feel free to ask. It wasn't extremely difficult, just time consuming. On to the pictures. The first one is flash on and the second one is flash off. I hope you enjoy.

I still have my original 01s but I can't stand how the altezzas look. I think these are much better. They look like a really dark cherry black color. I think they are ki(k ***.

Ok, here we go. Here's how I did mine. I wet sanded the lights with 600 grit sandpaper to get the Nite Shades to stick. After I had the whole light sanded I dried them off. I sprayed them with three coats of Nite Shades. In between coats I wet sanded with 600 grit sandpaper. After the last coat dried I sanded them down with 1000 grit. Next I sprayed them with three coats of clear. I also sanded in between coats with 1000 grit. After the last coat of clear dried I wet sanded them 1500 and then 2000 grit sand paper. After sanding I hit them up with some rubbing compound. It will still be hazy after the rubbing compound so I went over them with Mcguires cleaner wax, then Mcguires polish wax and for the last coat I hit them up with a coat of NTX wax. It shouldn't take you more than a few hours to do both of them.
