Dunbarton,

Yes I believe so, I haven't been able to get back to the track yet to verify, but Sal pointed out that the transmission temp sensor (I didn't know there was one) apparently will open a bleed valve on the blower, eliminating boost if it thinks the tranny is running too hot. In my case, we believe that because it happened under full boost AND the N2O, the added pressure just extinguished the spark and shut down the engine entirely.

I have since upgraded the tranny cooler to the largest that B & M makes and moved it out from behind the bumper. I also changed fluid and filter just to be safe. So far Beastie is running better than ever, especially with the new, latest code in Sal's chip. The shifts are much better than before and she pulls harder through the power band in all gears.

I'll let ya'll know how she does on the dyno next week!
