Got 9 1/2 mpg on my first tank. Bragging about your milage on an L. is like Pamela Anderson bragging about her S.A.T. score.

I am going to do an experiment, I since we all know that I am going to be catching a cab to Southwest Flight 117 to Seatle in about 45 minutes, I am going to take some magnets with me and do a tank without them, then a tank with them, to see if magnets really help. We'll see.

Best Highway 16.5 on long trip
Commuting pretty much around 13 depending on use of loud pedal.
It definitely gets better with miles on the truck, I now have just shy of 8000.

Tundra,
Forget the magnets, try eggs (under pedal).
Guaranteed to work (or make one hellava mess.)

I definitely missed the magnet post....

Talking

I got 13.5 (mostly highway) on my last tank. i have 16.000 miles. I have noted the following
1. Milage will imporve after enginge is broke in.
2. Mileage will improve with the use of synthetic oil.
3. Mileage will improve with K & N filter and should improve more with Sals air filter kit which I am ordering next week.

12-13 in town. 14-15 on the road. About 3 mpg better than when new.

I have found that magnets carefully placed in both my headband and right sock help, but only on full moon nights during odd numbered months. Something about the lunar pull magnifying magnetic energy ....

12.8 on the first tank, and never woke the blower. 13.7 on the second tank, and I might have gotten into the blower just a tiny bit. Only 490 miles on it so far.
