Smile Not all Rice imported.......

Everyone,

Not to beat a dead subject but I got this last night and thought it was funny. All the guy needs now is a bunch of stickers:

I am sure that after the wing and the stickers, he will be in the 9's.....

In the truth of the matter, my previous fun car was a 1990 300zx. Please don't confuse something like the 300zx with a honda. The Z was a kick a$$ car...to bad I didn't have the TwinTurbo...Then again, if I had the TT I probably wouldn't have bought the 99, so there is a good side to everything.

Tower 6 9er, this Panair 1charley5er,
Looking for clearance to proceed to runway 5,
You are cleared for take off.

I think we will read this some day:
Car with too many big wings, acheives takeoff velocity, gets ticketed by FAA, because of air space violation.

I wonder if they make one wiper blade for those cars, I though about uh nevermind. I saw a Lightning with a huge wing on the rear, it looked like it was from the eighties, no flame, it also had the cab flares and the cab-bill (plastic peice (of $*^%) that goes from cab over windshield 4 or 5 inches), don't forget the gold wiper blades, it was also red. This was in Alaska. Yes, tacky body mods have infested all makes of cars alike, granted, the wing itself was not too obnoxious, but everything else with it sure made it look funny. You just have to shake you head sometimes and say, I hope my son doesn't turn out like that, and if you do have a son like that, I don't mean to offend. I guess I am digging a pretty deep hole here, I better shut up 'cause after all me and my friend thought a moose would look good on the hood (as if there wasn't enough weight on the front end).
I hear you, I will go to my room now.
1 MORE DAY!!!

That`s one way to make a Pontiac look bad. What the reason for someone adding such a wing? I guess if you were towing a trailer it could help divert air over it.....

Michael Knight & Kit would be proud ;(

Cool

If the wings are doing what they are supposed to do then no probs with FAA. Properly installed they generate negative lift, the better to glue you to the road. Above 100 mph an Indy car could drive on the ceiling. But spoilers don't make you faster, they do have aerodynamic drag. I did post a question to the forum before that no one really answered. If you look at the NASCAR trucks you will note that they have huge rear spoilers. That's because p/u trucks are so light in the a$$ end that you need a lot of downforce to keep them planted in the corners. I wanted to know whether there were any functional equivalents available for the L? Seems to me that you would want to have all the downforce that you could in the rear on a high speed corner. Any thoughts about this?

Red face

Some Honda cars are fast too.

I have been left for dead by a yellow NSX with big wheels and exhaust one Saturday afternoon. We were on the highway at around 80 km/h, and I went past him, full throttle. He downshifted and caught up and went past and I did not try to do THAT again...
