Aftermarket Headlight Users????

Hey I got some moisture in my headlight housing So first I am going to try to take it apart clean it up and reseal it.(has anyone done this any pointers)

I would just buy a new housing but there like 200+bucks and its not worth it to me because I want to sell the truck this spring. I looked on E-Bay and see alot of those projector- halo deals that dont look too bad in black and there like 120 bucks for both lenses and corners in one, Has anyone used these?

Do they work good/look good and are they really plug and play I see some say you have to wire the Halo/LED's seperately

also dumb ? part regular f150-expedition headlights are the same fittement as our trucks?

Or should I just bite the bullet and buy a new SVT housing to keep it stock

Thanks
any help or info appreciated

Slick/Craig

I'd try re-sealing yours first.

Try some clear silicon, worked for me on the grand Cherokee.

Yes, try fixing what you have. If that doesn't work I would buy a new housing. Look around I am sure someone has them. I mine around but don't want to give them up just yet. I wouldn't put the one piece lights anywhere near my truck, they make me throw up a little bit in my mouth when I see them. Just my opinion though. Goodluck! -Mat-

Regarding the 'black-out', clear corner, projector style 4-pc. units sold on ebay:

1. The fit is equal to OEM
2. They utilize a bulb that plugs into the OEM wiring socket.
3. The quality is NOT equal to OEM
4. Do they look good? - subjective; IMO, with black, charcoal or true blue - yes.
5. Make certain the vendor has them in stock - if not, 3 - 4 week wait.
