Does a torque converter for an E4OD work for a 4R100

From what I understand the difference between the two is in the actual transmission itself. I was just wondering because I ordered a 2400 stall converter from PI and got it today. On the invoice it says "E4OD Torque Converter - 6 Bolt". I told them that I have a 2003 Lightning. I am just trying to verify that I actually got the right converter.
