Listen to "fastdailydriver". There has been a lot of talk about this very subject on this board of the years. Could be the pumps but more likely it's the hose. Sal knows what he's talking about.

well i just pulled the bed back and pulled the pumps out. everything was hooked up fine so no hose was undone. next step i guess is to put my stock pumps back on the truck and see if it will start cause i dropped the pumps back in and hooked it all back up and check the fuel rail again and didnt have any pressure or fuel at all in the rail.

i checked all the fuses and relays too and everything was pushed down tight and the fuse wasnt blown.

hmmm

my truck did the same exact thing one time when i changed my plugs and didn't put the hose all the way back on the IAC valve in the intake.

I know your gettng fuel codes and no pressure, so that probably isn't it.

I'm sure it real nice and warm to be sitting outside working on your truck too right???

I would just have the thing flat bedded out of there instead of driving back and forth and having it sit where you aren't. You have tripple A or anyone you know have tripple A? Have them go sit up in the truck and say they borrowed it.

even if the fuel had water in it i think it would still go into the lines and up to the rail....

i have no fuel at the rail

the truck is allready in my garage. thats how i jacked up the rear, pulled the rear tires off and moved the bed back 2 foot to get to the tank.

If its not to late, pull your fuel filter back off, turn the key & see if you have fuel coming out of the line. It will make a mess but it would tell you if the pumps are working.
