Does anyone use one of the extremely lightweight batteries for street/strip use? Models like Odyssey or Dyna-bat. I am looking for feedback on their performance and longevity.

I have tried them and believe it or not the lawn mower batteries work just a s good.but you have to use them for starting only and not to run the fans with the engine off otherwise they will not start the truck.Stan

 

I've had the odessy in my daily driver for approx 2 years. It dosen't like cold weather. When it gets below freezing I usually have to use a little portable battery jumper I picked up at walmart. I'm in Texas, so it hasn't been a problem, works for me.
