Thumbs down Raining here in Phoenix, cant drive the L

Ok, I'm sure I'm gonna get flamed for this one. It's pouring big time here in Phoenix, so I could not bring myself to drive my new L in the rain and get it all dirty, so I had to resort to driving my Vette. A bunch of people at work have already flamed me about this. I am pathetic or what? It's pretty bad when one doesn't want to drive their truck in a little rain.

No. It's pretty bad when one is willing to drive their 'vette in the rain instead of their truck!

Raining in L.A. too. The Moby's the daily driver, so she's out there every day. Acceleration took a little getting used to, didn't it? Delicate touch in the toes is an art on wet streets.

Peter;
You guys need the rain...I was there two weeks ago and it was very dry. I played the "Legecy" and it needed water. Nice and cool buy dry. Besides the "L" looks good in the rain anyway.

Only reason I'd drive the 'vette instead of the Lightning is this:

the vette's expendable, the L's not !

Cool

I thought rain and lighting went hand in hand. At least in Florida they do!

Peter, I know how you feel. This is the first day I've had to drive in the rain since I've owned mine (birthday 4-27-99). Next week I'll have to get under her and do some cleaning.

Peter B, I hear ya. My L has been in the garage since Sat night; I washed her that morning. There was a 20% chance of rain yesterday, as well as today. Didn't rain yesterday and hasn't rained, yet, here in Austin.

Peter,

I'm trying to sell my house. I won't even put the L outside in the rain. When people come to look I put my Lexus GS-400 out so they can see the garage. We may be **** but we're not nuts!

Go Lightning!

Whew, now I know I'm a normal Lightning owner. My Vette is so dirty--argh, I've never seen it like this, cause it's never seen rain before. This is the pitts, I think I need to buy a beater for conditions like this. Trouble is, it only rains in Phoenix about 2 days a year, and those 2 days just happen to be right after I buy a new L.
