The truck looks great. I've got to stop reading all the posts. I keep getting in trouble with the wife because I want it all.

Did you just have the steps and corners painted or did you buy some aftermarket ones. I didn't think a roll pan would look good, but I sure was wrong.

That is one nice looking truck!

I'm sure you didn't mind the dog house to much for what you got in trade for it. hehe

Pacecar(JB):

Thanks....

All pieces were aftermarket. Steps were special made by a local body shop, Sir Michael's provided the rollpan and rear corners.
The only original piece that was painted was the lower tailgate trim.

Looks KILLER.. I like it alot..

I want to do a roll pan on mine.. question for you. Did you happen to salavage the hitch if you had one? Could one be placed up under the plate, so the plate would flip down to allow hitch access...

I really like that look but have to have my hitch..

Thanks
Brad

You got it Flats...Thanks. Fun Ford Weekend next weekend at Desoto. Think about it....

SVT(Brad):
Hitch would have to go. I considered just moving it back, but no go. I didn't mind removing mine simply because I never see myself pulling anything(being pulled maybe).
Lost probably 100+ lbs. on the conversion, too. Who says body mods. can't be performance enhancement....

Brad:

I take that back....
I just went out and took another look. You could possibly move it back and shim it to clear the bottom of the roll pan. The flip plate wouldn't work since the rollpan is slightly taller than the original bumper.

I didn't give it a real effort since I think it detracts from the smooth look I was going for.

So, Yeah I think it could be done....
If you're interested I'll find the # of the bodyshop that did the smooth steps for me.
