Well after checking my plugs for tightness I had one that was loose. . After tightening it down all others where ok.. Well now i'm still getting a ticking and power loss when I quickly depress the gas.. Sounds like an exhaust leak and also I did a few WOT runs and I smell a rotten egg odor out of the exhaust. The truck pulls strong but their is still a little more power to be had.. The throttle response is weak but WOT the truck moves ok.. I just don't understand it..Uggggggggggghhh
.. I'm very certain it's not the plugs at all, it's something else causing the ticking and i'm not throwing any codes..

Did your truck have the I/C replaced? Did it leak for a while?
Mine leaked and went through a couple gallons of coolant. 1-2 gallons. was sucked through the engine (not really alot compared to some others out there) Well that fouled my O2 sensors making the truck run like crap and clogged (nuetralized) the catalytic convertors and they were running really hot and smelled like rotten eggs.
So I replaced the entire exhaust last spring. from headers to custom mid pipes, to high flow cats to baffles and bolted it up to the cat back. Sounds really really nice now!

Yeah I had the I/C replacement done through Ford during the recall.. It sounds like air is escaping somewhere just haven't had the chance to find out where yet.. I'll probably go buy a stetlescope to see or take it in to a good muffler shop..
When your O2 sensors fouled out what kind of symptoms did you have? How did your truck run?

I kept getting the same codes... I forgot the exact number but they went bad within a week of each other. Something about left bank running lean, right bank running lean or something like that. I had it cleared a few times then finally replaced the O2's.
If you need some O2's talk to Suavy, i think I gave him 6 O2's for a lightning, They were all good. After I kept getting codes I figured out the cats were shot and just replaced the entire thing.
Ok now it's funny you mentioned the IC. I went out and looked into the intercooler coolant reservoir and didn't see any fluid sloshing around... I looked down the bottom and saw where trash and dirt had piled up..I took a flathead screw driver and unclogged the tract and liquid started moving..
Also i finally come to the realization that I do have an exhaust leak on the passenger side... It's hard to figure out where it's coming from on that side..I've done a search and most of them are coming up header leaks, or manifold leak...

Get a Spray Bottle and put some soapy water in it.
Start the truck and Soak the entire exhaust with the soapy water... you'll find the leak!

WTF ???
Bro, get that sucker flushed out CORRECTLY
Hey rob will draining the radiator automatically drain the intercooler coolant? Just curious? Or do the radiator and intercooler coolant drain separately?
