Post calling isa4325

Hey isa,
Picked up one of those Intercepter's. Which one did you get? I got the '95 and up one. Does not have the same connections as on the truck and the terminals are not in the same holes. Did you replace the connectors on your truck? Thanks in advance.

Question

??????
Yes I would like to have some information on this too. I contacted AutoTrans Inc. (1-888-453-3767 spoke with Jim in sales) the manufacture of the Interceptor and told them that I would like to install it on my 1999 Ford Lightning. I told him that the transmission was a modified E4OD/ 4R100, he infact proceeded to tell me that my trans. was a an AODE. Needless to say I listened (did not give him any background info on myself)when I heard the trans type I just said Oh! I asked if it would just connect in and he said yes and the price was $99.89. Since it was obvious that he did not know his product applications I did not order the part.

Cool

It hooks up on the passenger side of the trans not the driver side. removing heat shield required. It is a 4R100 trans DABOLT and he was wrong.
95 and up is right Jerrod.

Thanks Andre, I guess it helps to look in the right place, huh. There was no way it was going on the drivers side. Thanks again.
