Post Header Noise

I have installed some jba headers and am noticing some "rattle" when under load or accelerating. How many others have noticed this noise and is it normal from stainless steel headers?

Hey Slick,

I have the JBA's and I have no rattle, I just have LOUD rumble. I would take a look at the studs to make sure they are torqued to the right specs.

i have a rattle in my bassani headers it is on the drivers side only and like you only when it is under a load. i dont have it fixed yet i think it could be a heat shield b/c on the drivers side the heat shield and the pipe is almost touching my steering column.

Me too:
Sounds like a "tinny" rattle on downshift and heavy load. Probably heat shield or something else just barely touching something. Gonna give it a few hundred miles to settle in then go tightning/adjusting.

I had that noise as well. I took the sheild off today, and gave it a tweek and it's gone. It was rubbing the column shaft.
