Post Bleyver Stripes on Silver?

I apologize in advance if the following is laughable or just plain ugly soundin':

Now that we've been blessed with a view of the silver Lightning, I was wondering what you thought about putting Mystic Bleyver racing stripes on it. I don't even know if that color is available, yet. I was thinking about stripes, but didn't want black. Any opinions would be excellent.

I haven't called about my silver L yet, but it should be arriving within the next year or so.

i saw a silver ram with grayish looking stripes ala SST style, and it looked pretty good, much better than black. all lightnings stock grills are the bleyver color that no one can identify. so look at it close "in full sun" and decide if thats what you want.

If the Viper GTS is anything to go by, Silver with blue stripes (I believe that's an option for 99 or 00 Vipers) looks good. Just don't get black.

Thanks, BBQ.

Remember this site? It has a good shot of the grill in sunlight, but it's on a red L.

I'll have to get with 2000_Silver_Soon to get a good look at the grill against the silver. In any case, thanks for your input, BBQ.

Hey Airburps,
Be prepared for the looks and questions when you paint on that beautiful truck. I put yellow stripes with a small sliver accent line across my red lightning. So I know where you are right now. Go to a very good paint shop, ask for thier help, look at a color wheel and make sure your tones match. You can't just pick a nice color and lay it on your truck, the color tones have to blend or be of matching contrast. Look at everything, listen to everyone, then do what you want --- always remember --- it is your truck. Sliver goes with nearly every color so leave no stone unturned.

My truck is posted in here if you wish to see it.

Good Luck my soon to be striped friend,
Alvin

Alvin,

Thanks, man. I can't wait to get my hands on my Silver beastie to check out all the options. Who knows, maybe I'll have my pictures posted sometime soon.

Question

Hi everyone,

I'm sorry to be behind the 'power curve', but what color is Bleyver? Thank you in advance.

Later, Jake...

Jake,

No problemo. Bleyver is like a very dark gray. There have been many arguments over whether or not it's really black (we all remember the problems that caused when you know who was still around).

Anyway, take a look at the link above. You get a really good shot of what (I think) bleyver really is. You'll find it on page four with the great grill shot.

Thank you. I think I understand now, (I guess I'll just have to see it in person someday). Seriously, Thanks for the links.
Does it change color like Mystic paints?

Later, Jake...
