Post A tug to my heart and a tear in my eye

I am thoroughly enjoying the postings of all you 2000 Lightning new owners as you get your Bolts and experience the absolute rush of the first few drives. And....as all 99 owners will tell you/have told you, it just gets better and better as the truck loosens up.

I tried going back to last April/May to reread the posts of those of us who had been waiting since the previous Aug./Sept. and sort of relive that period, but I could only get back to about page 75 or 76 which was already in July. In any case, we were saying a lot of the same things and were totally in awe of what Ford had wrought.

Now, get ready to try to hang on to your wallets. Us '99ers have had 10 months worth of experience getting suppliers to provide performance chips, exhaust systems, air filter upgrades, hoods, traction bars, pulleys and even specific decals and stickers. And a lot more I have forgotten.

Enjoy, boys and girls, you are in for one heck of a ride.

Bill

Until Steve cashes my first check as an official advertiser, I am under a news blackout. More to come later.

Cool

Trying to play by the rules, Stever.
The invoice was sent to HobbyTown Corporate who write all my checks. I normally get them back every Thursday/Friday.
So, yes it's in the mail, but to me first, and I promise to be discreet.

Thanks Bill!
Fortunatly I did do a slight bit of 'pre-priming' my wife to the initial cost and future costs of owning this awsome truck. I'm very lucking to have a wife that seems to enjoy spoiling me rotton.

Jake:

Be very aware. All women have limits....
Had to put a BedRug in this week for a possible alternate sleeping location, if you get my drift.

Just kidding, have fun!
