Tuning question...

I received a 2.77 upper pulley for christmas and a Metco Idler and really want to put it on. My question is, I have a predator tuned for my current setup, if I put this pulley on can I adjust the tune through the predator or do I need to get a tune from my tuner (via email or dyno)?

I have a stock upper and a 6# lower.

Thanks
Kurt

Most modern tunes are ok adding boost, but you should check with your tuner to be sure. No need to make an expensive mistake.

If the tune was done right in the first place the A/F won't change with more boost. The predator will allow you to remove timing for safety with the extra boost. If you don't max out the MAF (doubtful), then there's no problem.

I'm not doubting you, but your saying that adding 3 lbs. of boost wont effect the A/F ratio. I find that hard to believe. Can anyone else confirm this statement. I have a BA2400 and I'm at 4.2 v, so I'm not worried about pegging the meter.

Thanks
Kurt
