I have searched and searched but cannot find the ford interior paint that matches the dash of our trucks, not the a-pillars. If someone has the part number can you post it up or pm it to me

How do I find that? My truck is at school and I am home, what do I need to find the paint code?

I went to the local auto paint store, and they stocked the SEM (I think) paint in a spray can. Many very light coats later it was a perfect match.

The Pillar (at least in my truck) is a different shade of gray (or grey) as the dash. It's not sun faded, came that way from the factory. (1999 Lightning)

 

Look at the sticker on the door jamb.......it will list an interior paint code (like UA). Since your away from the truck this may become a difficult task.

Under " INT TR" it has L2 in mine - Red L with you've guessed it Grey Interior

 

I am just gonna call my local ford dealership and see what they can do

 

I am a Parts Manager and they will still ask you for the interor paint code to get you the correct color....I orderd a can for my own truck and it matched perfect

 

I am 700 miles away from my truck. Would any other truck with the same color interior be the same as my truck (have the same paint code)?

 

are there any differences in the colors of the interiors on different year lightnings? or can I use the paint code from another lightning and get the paint?
