Does it do that every single time you floor it?
Or just now & then.
What's your fuel pressure reading at the same time?
Mine did that when the fuel level was low in tank.

Nice pickup between 60 & 100 but a loosing a bit of grip.
Smart truck & sounds good inside cab on WOT.

My modded L (every bolt-on under the sun) did it. And my HD, which is nowhere near stock does it.

It is 100% for sure the PWM torque converter apply. You can get rid of that long prolonged application and get a Gil Younger kit that will convert the converter application from PWM to non PWM. In layman's terms, the converter application will go from a gradual apply over time to an instant application (almost like another shift). The upside is faster converter application and less heat (much better durability). The downside is that you will feel the application like another shift. I personally like the way my feels w\ the NON PWM setup. It is great!

Or you can just have your tuner set the Converter lock up anywhere you want it
