Cool

I tell ya what's funny about that. When a bunch of us F150onliners were at the last rally down in Austin, I discovered my door crack for the first time. Well Nathan ran over to his Lightning to see if he had it, I mean he moved, well, like Lightning It was pretty funny. You're pretty quick Nathan. Anyways, that's my story.

Question

Door cracks? What kind of cracks are we talking about here? Are they structural or cosmetic or what? Holy moly, you guys are scaring the bejusus out of me, a would-be Lightning owner.

Exclamation

I don't mean to be an alarmist, but I think if more people know about the crack, maybe Ford will fix the problem one day. I think the Lightning has the same doors as the F-150. This means if your new Lightning doesen't have door cracks, it probably will soon. It shouldn't keep someone from buying one, but it's got to be a corrosion concern for the future.

I hate to bring this back to the top, but... I happened to notice a crack on my drivers door today. It's not that big yet, but the molding wasn't hiding it either.
Anybody else with Lightnings have them?

I just checked Beastie a couple of days ago and found nothing. Is this thing liable to happen to either door, or just the driver's side?

Metallic Blue,
If your looking for a pic., go to the main F150Online page and scroll towards the bottom, there you will see a subject about door cracks, click there and it will take you to a photo.

I could take a pic. but I don't have one of them fancy dig. cameras yet so it would be a while. SORRY
