Traction with lowered lightning..
Replacing the rear hangers has not made any difference in traction, just a lower stancr in the rear that gives the truck a level look. The only way I have been able to get this "creature" to hook up is by removing one of the leafs from the rear springs to soften up the rear so I can get some weight transfer. Taking out one of the stiffer springs has greatly improved traction even with the factory rear tires on. A little to soft for everyday street use, bounce, bounce, etc..... Great on the track, nice with the dot slicks to.... Just one experience to ponder.

Hello all..
To all of you who have lowered your 99 Lightning.. have you seen a loss in traction ? Is it harder to hook with the rear dropped 4".. ? Any differences between Roush leaf springs and using hangers and shakles.. ?
Any comments are appreciated..
