Question Ordering from Sal?

Has anyone actually succeeded in placing an order with Sal on-line? I have been trying for several days to order his PSP filter kit, but every time I hit "subtotal" I get a javascript error. E-mailed him about the problem, but so far not corrected. I realize I could just send a check, but for a number of reasons I much prefer to use plastic when ordering through the mail. Any suggestions?

I just ordered a chip and filter this morning.. no problem...

Are you using AOL? If so that's prolly it.
I would say the java script error is in YOUR browser... not his page. I'm running IE 5 without problems.

No, not using aol. Using Netscape 4.72 (latest version, just been out a few days). That could be the problem, but I kind of doubt it, have ordered from several other sites including the f-150 on-line store and g-tech with no probs. Just got my G-tech Pro via UPS a few minutes ago. Maybe I'll try ordering via aol and see what happens.

Hey George, Sal here. I suppose it's a compatability problem with your browser since aol and IE users don't have the problem. I will have it checked out. I do my website myself, except for that one page that does the totals.

I tried many times to use the subtotal feature but could not get it to work. I was using Netscape 4.7. I also tried on my girlfriends i-mac using Netscape with no luck. Then I tried it with Explorer 4.0 and had no problems.

Thanks, Sal. Based on Marvin's experience as well as mine it obviously an incompatibility between that one page and Netscape. The rest of your pages work fine. Later I will motor on over to aol and place my order there. I keep threatening to dump aol, since I almost never use it, but my wife likes it. I guess it has its uses.

Addendum- the dirty deed is done. Logged onto your site via aol and ordered the filter kit.
