This nitrous install is getting expensive...

This nitrous install is getting expensive. I have the complete kit already but I still spent $225 on parts. I just bought a bunch of stuff I need to complete the install but still have some more stuff to buy.

Bought a 4 foot line for the solenoid to the nozzle

Bought a autometer phantom gauge and an 8 ft line for that, probably much longer than I needed but did not want to make another trip., also I am using the autometer flexible copper tubing for the purge line(not sure how good it will work but SK speed recommended it after I told them what I am doing. Also picked up this cool blue swivel fitting to tap the nitrous line for the gauge and some liquid Teflon tape!

I also spent I think $90 on a PSP nitrous throttle body plate and new plugs.

Still need to get a bottle bracket for the bed, the one that comes with the kit sucks and also a TPS switch, I do not want to use the micro switch that comes with the kit.

I am installing a used nitrous kit and I already spent ˝ the money I could have put towards a built motor!

I figure by the time I am done I am going to spend about $500 - $600 in parts. I started this install because I had the kit just laying around and it would be a “free” mod (at least that is what I told the woman) oh well so much for that.

I hope to have some pics of my “stealth install” mock up tomorrow.

If it's used you ought to have the solinoids checked/rebuilt.
