"Sal's Fast Air kit is TOO effective", sucking babies off the curb edition with pics!

I had yesterday off so I figured I'd clean/change my air filter. Glad I checked. Check out the bottom of my intake tray I have now found a frog and various candy wrappers up in this thing. Obviously I am getting air to the box in copious amounts

The Truflow filter was gummed up on the bottom and end as well. I haven't gotten my cleaning kit for it yet, so I cleaned my K&N powerstack and threw it in. The trueflow looks like it has tar in it lol!

This is after 4 months of use in Florida. It's scary

Buy a pre-filter or use a panty hose on the filter.

Bet the Frog was a bit pissed with you turfin him out of his winter hideaway.
Or was he stuck to the filter with a big grin on his face.

I went back to my K&N with an Outerwear filter. I'm a bit concerned about how oily this Trueflow was. I ordered it the day they came out, which was before Chicken was offering a cleaning kit with each filter, and I'm the stubborn type that doesn't want to pay another 20 bux for a cleaning kit when I have a prefectly nice K&N laying around

Damn dude, you need to move to a cleaner area! I've never seen one like that! Maybe some leaves and the occasional debris, but that's about it. At least you know it works .

For the major debris, you can get some fine screen material and attach it to the scoop with some small self tapping screws. Paint it black before installing and you won't even seen it.

The outer wear filter helps cut down on extra street dirt/dust.
