Hey Cristy;

I once had a 68 Mustang fastback with white relectiive "C" stripes. They lit up brightly at night when hit with light. They were made for Ford using relective tape manufactured by 3M Corp.(Minnesota,Mining & Manufacturing). They now use a similar tape on "Official" vehicles. You know the type. (Sorry bout that). I'm sure a banner could be made up using this stuff, and it might be brighter at night, at least with lights on it. A local sign shop in my area used to sell this stuff, and could do graphic designs of any type in it. I'm sure there's a sign shop in your area that has it. Hope you still make it to WFC. Meetng you is still planned as one of the highlights of the event. Stop by Purple Haze Racing if you get another chance, and ask Ron what's going on with my engine. Haven't heard from him in a month or so.

Thanks

Lightning Bob

Bob,

I'll check into it. Thanks. I remember some of the Mavericks with the grabber stripes. That was TUFF. Maybe I'll drop by there and see Ron tomorrow after I get off work. I'll get in touch with ya if I catch him. Good to see ya'.

Question Glow in the dark...

The other night I was watching Speed Vision and I saw a bunch of lil Hondas racin' and one of the Primera cars had a windshield banner that said Primera and it was glow in dark and it was SOOOOOO TUFF. Anyhow, I talked to Brent and he wasn't sure where he would even be able to get the material. Anybody else have any ideas? I would think that it wouldn't be any harder than those dang little glow in the darks stars they charged me .06 apiece for leaving on my college dorm room ceiling when I moved out...I want one so bad, help.

Matt:

Be nice. We don't want the Angel of Death on the board.....

Glow in the dark is certainly different..... But hey, that's why we're here. We like different..... Different is good.

while you're at it, don't forget the streamer from your antenna, and the little l.e.d.'s around your license plate bracket.

Pete,
hehe Back in the day...

Tampa,
Little, yellow, different hehe remember that. He can take 4 inches off mine too.

Matt
I have no problems with any of the members on the board because we make it a basic guideline to respect eachother' decisions. Whether it be to paint our trucks odd colors, tag them, or modify them in a way that some may not understand, which is why I didn't call you an idiot the other day when you thought it would be a good idea to lift your truck. It's your business and if you don't have anything positive or constructive to contribute don't contribute at all. Ever see that movie Bambi? Thumper's dad was pretty wise for a rabbit. My boyfriend happens to be part of that RICE crowd and he has never done anything but support my habit and vice versa so I resent the comment coming from you.

Alpha,
got all those bases covered, just need the glow worm effect. hehe

BBQ
hehe I thought about that too when I first saw it.

Love like always

I saw the glow in the dark bed liner in the last issue of trucking...maybe it was last months. It was reletively towards the back. I don't have the mag anymore, but will hopefully pick up the new one tomorrow. As far as the local sign shop goes, they said they would look into ordering the glow in the dark vinyl, Now I just wait...

I say if it turns your crank do it. good luck finding it. To the "rice" haters I say: I hope that some day one kicks your ***. Lightning or not! And dont think there aren't any that can do it.

Glow in the dark is no different than lighted logos. So go find that thread and pick on those guys for a while.
