Ugh, I know what the waiting is like. My '99 Lightning went into the shop a week ago for the intercooler problem (which was gettting bad enough to kill two emissions sensors in a row and drink 3 gallons of fluid a week). Now, the replacement intercooler is backordered until MARCH 20 ! ! !

With all the new lightnings coming in, I miss mine even more.

I know what you mean about waiting. Are they keeping the L until it comes in? Hopefully you will get the newer one I heard they were working on. I haven't had any probs since they replaced the CORRECT part. Good Luck

One dealer had on lot near me had a cassette ,not cd.

 

Well folks, first of all, thanks for the well wishes. My schedule went crazy today, starting with my wife's first sonogram appointment. Anyway, long story short, the truck was just going into prep and detail when I showed up. I got to lay some rubber in the lot, but couldn't bring it home because I had to get to work. I WILL drive it home tomorrow.

I wonder if I will get any sleep tonight?
